Type-approval to ECE R90 is required for all replacement brake linings throughout the European Union and in non-European countries that have adopted ECE Regulations.

High standard throughout 
The ECE R90 regulation requires stringent tests for speed sensitivity and temperature performance of brake pads. Factory and test equipment approval is also part of the R90 homologation. It involves engineers inspecting and accrediting the factory once a year and continuous sampling of the brake pad products.
